A tribe devoted to discussing the past, present, and future of the institution that is the Disneyland Railroad, which also happens to be celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year.

The Disneyland Railroad is a short-line railway operated by The Walt Disney Company as part of The Magic Kingdom of Disneyland and is comprised of five oil-fired and steam-powered locomotives along with four passenger-carrying trains. The Railroad further counts among its rolling stock the "Lilly Belle" Presidential Car, which has carried, in addition to American Presidents, royalty and other foreign dignitaries along with luminaries from many different fields.

As the most popular attraction in The Magic Kingdom, the trains of the D.R.R. provide a Grand Circle Tour of Disneyland by originating at and returning to Main Street Station and by making additional station-stops at Frontierland Station; Toontown Depot: The Gateway to Fantasyland; and, Tomorrowland Station.

In this way, Guests first entering Disneyland are provided with an orientation as the trains depart Main Street, U.S.A. and travel into the Four Cardinal Realms of the Imagination: Adventureland; Frontierland; Fantasyland; and, Tomorrowland.

The tour concludes with a visit to the Grand Canyon (a popular destination of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad, the sister railway to the D.R.R.) and, then, back in time to the fantastic Primeval World.
